I am Ima Cestau, I am 61 years old and I am happily recently retired. I live in Pamplona with my very nice 21 year old son and I go to my hometown, Leitza (the town where the movie “8 Basque surnames” was filmed).
I have been a technician of Euskara (Basque language), in the adult training centers of the Government of Navarre; I am passionate about my language of identity. Now I am collaborating in processes of recovery of forms of speech that are at risk of being lost.
My retirement is active: gym so as not to lose strength and shape, reading, studying systemic philosophy and family constellations, a small vegetable garden, enjoying the people I love, watching the next generation grow…and, novelty! Being a co-educator in the “Shared Memories” program, a challenge and a great motivation.
