I was born in Badajoz, where I lived until I was 15 years old, when we moved to Salamanca, where all my family is from.
I have combined my work in the State Administration with my work as a teacher, which is my true vocation. I have taught for 37 years in secondary education, the last 22, in Higher Level Vocational Training Cycles, in various branches of Administration. My work as a teacher has always been developed in Salesian schools, so I consider myself part of that great family.
Nowadays, once I am retired, I try to enjoy that wonderful feeling of being able to have my time and dedicate it to myself and my loved ones.
I enjoy walking and swimming for exercise. I love traveling, a hobby I share with my wife, chatting with friends, theater, reading, listening to music and basketball, a sport I played in my youth and to which I am still completely hooked.
Since I retired, I have been looking for an activity linked to training, in which I can prolong my vocation and make use of some of my knowledge and experience, but without a commitment that would tie me down too much and allow me to combine it with that free disposal of my time that I was talking about.
A family member and good friend told me about Memorias Compartidas, where he is a co-educator and I found it a very interesting project. After talking to Palmar, I made up my mind.
I aspire to contribute my experience, my experiences and some of my humble knowledge. I look forward to this reunion with young people, with whom I have shared my life for so long and from whom I have always learned more than I have taught.
