I am 71 years old and have two children. I was born, lived and studied in Valladolid for half of my life, but I have lived in Cantabria for 37 years.
I am retired. I have been a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature in Secondary Education. I have been fortunate to have a profession that I have always enjoyed. I also like swimming, walking, literature, cinema, theater, art and above all meeting with my friends and talking to everyone in general. I am also interested in politics, the associative world, the conservation of the planet and I am concerned about the socio-political and cultural drift of today’s world and the damage that can be inflicted on new generations.
I have participated for two years in the coeducation projects and I would like to continue doing so because, first of all, it seems to me a novel, groundbreaking, transversal and intergenerational methodology, which allows a global coeducation and co-learning in the double direction of student/teacher and teacher/student, with, I believe, magnificent results. Secondly, on a more personal level, it allows me to review and revisit my memory and, at the same time, to unite my taste for teaching, conversation and the relationship with young people.
I encourage other potential co-educators to join the experience.
